2015 Halloween Nails & Makeup

Last Saturday, me and my boyfriend attended a private Halloween party with some of our friends. of course, I had to do some Halloween themed makeup and nails since I wasn't really planning on wearing an all-out costume.

I went for a spider-themed look for both my makeup and nails. The makeup was actually inspired by an old tutorial from GlitterGirlC on YouTube which I tweaked a little to give it a more personal touch.

Review | Born Pretty Store 2mm - 5mm Mixed Shape Rhinestones

Rhinestones always save the day when it comes to nail art as they effortlessly add that unique and special finish to any manicure. Today I will share with you this wheel from Born Pretty Store that has a pretty selection of shapes in two colours.

First of all, you get 350 pieces which rounds up to approximately 87 pieces of each of the four motifs and in my opinion, I think it is a good deal. The shapes include hearts, normal rounds, tear drops and leaves. The hearts and the tear drops are an opalescent white colour while the rounds and leaves are an iridescent black.

I chose to use the round and tear drop shapes (index and ring fingers) in a sugar skull themed manicure for Halloween and this is how it turned out:

The rhinestones fit my nails perfectly and they add a nice 3D effect. I used clear polish to adhere them to the nails and then secured them with top coat and they lasted for a whole 5 days. For me that is good as that is when I usually change a manicure.

You can get these rhinestones from Born Pretty Store for just $2.88 or you can save yourselves 10% of the price too if you enter the code EBABK31 at checkout.
