The Off-Shoulder Dress

Hey everyone :) Today I have another outfit post from our weekend getaway in Gozo. Our choice for dining out on Saturday evening was Il-Logga restaurant in Xaghra which is just a 5 minute walk from where we were staying. This provided us with the perfect opportunity to go for a walk a little earlier than our reservation time to take in the beautiful surroundings at this time of day and get the outfit pictures taken by my ever patient better half.

The restaurant is part of a small boutique hotel overlooking Xaghra valley. You can even see the beautiful blue waters in the distance and the statue of Our Lord the Saviour atop the Tal-Merżuq hill.

I wanted something sweet and comfortable for dinner and this dress really fit the bill. I paired it with these embroidered gold shoes and my Diane von Furstenberg Gallery bag.

For makeup, I went for a little more colour than the usual neutrals. I had received some products from Flormar a few days before, one of which was this beautiful emerald eyeshadow which matched the dress perfectly and I had to somehow include it in my look for the night. I applied it just under my bottom lashes for a hint of colour against the dark pink/purple on my eyelids. The mascara from the same collection is perfect to give oomph to the lashes - my better half thought I was wearing falsies! The bronzer provided the perfect finishing touch to give a sun-kissed look to my skin :)

Sheer Black and Flowers - Outfit for Day 5 of MFWA 2017

For the last day of the shows, it was back to my trusty Gianvito Rossi heels. This time I wore them with this gorgeous number from London F Cafe'.

As soon as I put on this dress I feel ok with myself..there's something about it that makes me feel really pretty and in my element. For one who doesn't really like black, I am finding myself reaching for this dark colour more because I have to admit that it does have an elegant feel to it. However the mint and pink embroidery provide that perfect touch of colour I crave with all black outfits.

On the day, I styled my hair with the TRESemme Max The Volume Textured Body Creme for a bit of oomph.

High - Low

Yesterday afternoon we celebrated my Dad's birthday with lunch at one of our favourite restaurants in Marsascala, Sepia. I always take every opportunity to dress up and wear new clothes and accessories I would have bought not long before.
Yesterday was one such day where I wore a new H&M dress and accessories and paired them with my Diane von Furstenberg 440 Gallery Bitsy Cross Body Bag, hence, high-low dressing ;) I love the cut-out at the back of the dress which gives the illusion of a matching crop top and skirt. I also loved wearing two new lip products from Kiko which lasted all throughout lunch without the need of a touch-up, but more on them in another post ;)

Here are some pictures that my other half captured for me :)

Unboxing | Diane von Furstenberg 440 Gallery Bitsy Cross Body Bag

A few weeks ago, I received my little purchase from matchesfashion.com after just 3 days! I was looking for a little wallet on chain of sorts and I wanted to splurge a little and treat myself so I headed over this luxury shopping site and the Diane von Furstenberg 440 Gallery Bitsy Cross Body Bag in gold snake-skin leather immediately caught my eyes. I wanted something in a metallic finish so that it goes with everything and I'm so happy I got this!

Check out my full unboxing video on YouTube (it's my first one there as I am still starting out) and here are more pictures to show you everything in more detail :)

I would really appreciate if you could check out and subscribe to my channel. The next video to be uploaded will be a huge collective haul. See you on Youtube!
