November Collective Haul

November just flew by me in a whiff and so it is time for the mandatory end-of month collective haul. This month it was more about cosmetics and just a few clothing items so it will be quite a short post. Enjoy :)

First up is the Essence Merry Berry limited edition collection on which I have got quite a few pieces and you check them all out here including swatches. This Christmas collection is one of the most anticipated this year and I really urge you to go out and get it!

I had to make a separate trip to get two more products out of this collection after seeing more reviews about them and I managed to find both the highlighter and the nail polish in the shade 02 Purple With A Purpose. The highlighter was €3.50 and the polish was €2.10. I also bought some of the stuff from their permanent line including a gel eye pencil in the shade 05 Gunmetal for €2.30, a nail art designer set for €2.10, an express dry nail spray for €2.60, a light reflecting top coat for €2.10 and a black nail polish for €1.70.

Also from Essence I got the Liquid Ink eyeliner and another gel eyeliner in 01 Black Blaze. They cost €2.40 each. From Roseberry, I got a backup of the NYX HD Concealer which is my favourite concealer ever for my under eye area and it cost €9.99. I also bought the 2015 limited edition i-Divine in Enchanted Forest for €13.99 and you can check out all swatches here.

As for clothing, I placed an order on the River Island website where I got this tassel fol-over bag (€26), a khaki patchwork wallet (€22) and these black tassel front loafers (€35) which I cannot wait to wear.

Lastly, from Orsay I got this black top and green faux leather skirt which were €19.49 each (with a discount) and I also got this denim skirt from Stradivarius for €22.95 which has been on my wishlist since the Pink Fashion Show.

June Collective Haul

I know I am a little late...again on the end-of-month haul but I still wanted to show you what I got anyways :) I'll start with fashion related items first, then move on to beauty.

I bought this pair of wedges from Aldo shoes and I have already worn them countless times - they go with so many outfits and are oh so comfy!! I have also found this grey holographic clutch bag on sale and surprisingly, I have worn it quite a few times as well.

I got some tops and a pair of red jeans from Stradivarius during a trip to Valletta. I never seem to be able to leave the store empty handed and some basics never hurt anyone ;) I also got these two cute tops from Dorothy Perkins as I find them very versatile for summer when you need to smarten yourself a little but still keep it comfy :)

I went a little accessory crazy this month with this Dorthy Perkins bucket bag which I am totally in love with, a pair of sunglasses and some bangles and bracelets from Promod as well as more bangles and rings from Born Pretty Store.

Next up are the beauty items, most of which are nail related. I bought backups of the Nivea eye makeup remover and the Lycia makeup remover wipes, both of which I can't be without. I also bought an array of nail embellishments and tools from Born Pretty Store (some of them were actually sent for review purposes). I also bough Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle which totally works and I'm in love with and three Sinful Colors Pinata Blasts from ebay. The shades I got are Mamacita, Fierce Fiesta and Baila Baila.

Lastly, the boyfriend treated me to a new nail drill kit, some Oumaxi acrylic paints and an assortment of nail decorations :)

January & February Collective Haul

Phew it has been a hectic few days for me and I barely had time to switch on my laptop, let alone blog so please excuse my absence. Next week I will be flying to London for the first time in my life and I really have worked hard to restrain myself from buying all the good sale deals in order to save up for splurging there ;) Consequently I thought of doing one collective haul post for January and February since I didn't buy a lot of stuff. I did however treat myself to quite a few nail polishes but I will do a separate post on those.

The first purchase I want to share with you are these gorgeous boots from Nine West. I have been wanting a pair of heeled brown boots for a long time and now here they are! I got them on sale for €132 which I understand that it may be a little pricey for some but as long as the shoe is comfy and I know I will get a lot of wear out of, I put the price aside.

Next are a few sale bargains that I got from Jennyfer in Gozo and Asos (Caroline you're to blame for this one :p). I bought this faux leather skirt with laser cut-out details and scallop edges for just €7 (instead of €20) and the aviator jacket was marked down to €15 from €50 and they were both the last ones in my size - I would have been stupid to just leave them there! The Fashion Union dress from Asos was more of an impulse buy but at a mere €10 I think it's a nice little addition to my closet.

Next, here are some online purchases, all of which are from Ebay. I got a tangle teezer dupe as I already have one which I keep at work and I find it leaves my hair super soft, an XL stamper (more info coming soon), a flower ear cuff, a lipstick holder and NYX HD Concealer. I got the shade CW03 Light which is a perfect match for me.

During one of my lunch breaks at work, I caved and bought this gorgeous Max Factor Lipstick in 685 Mulberry and one of my quick trips to Sliema I popped into OVS and bought an assortment of Essence nail products, an Effect Lipgloss in the shade C04 Red Sugar and a cute pair of tweezers. From the NYX store, I bought the Jumbo Eye Pencil in 615 Slate and an Eye/Eyebrow Pencil in 924 Yellow, both of which I needed for carnival.

Stay tuned for a nail products haul coming soon!

October Collective Haul

October is my birthday month so I went a little crazy with shopping especially on the day itself where I spent the morning at Sliema with two good friends and colleagues. I also went a little crazy with polishes...I can't remember the last time I bought so much polish in one go! Anywho, here's what went down this month in clothes and cosmetics :)

I'm going to start with the bargain of the month which is none other than this leather clutch bag from Topshop which was on sale for €18.25 instead of €61. It is quite roomy and the leather feels like its good quality.

Sweater weather is finally here and I have bought this green cardigan from Mango for €22.99 and this chunky knit from Stradivarius for €27.99. I have already worn the cardigan and it's so comfy I might get the other colours too and I really can't wait to wear the knit sweater :)

Zara had this cute skirt for €29.99 which I am already thinking of different ways to style it and they also had this red jacket which I wanted one like for ages. It was a little on the pricey side at €89.95 but the material is of very good quality and I still have Zara jackets from like 8 years ago or so and they still look like new. The Bardot top is from River Island and it cost €33.

As if the above clothes were not enough, I treated myself to an official birthday present...two Fossil bracelets with rose gold elements. The curb chain one cost €39 while the leather one cost €49.

Moving on to nail polish, I bought two China Glaze shades (Lug Your Designer Luggage and Choo-Choo Choose You) from The Giver Autumn 2014 Collection for €12 for both, Zoya Pixie Dust Lux and Zoya Tinsley for €14.62 for both as well as Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 320 Raisin The Bar (€7.99) and Insta-Dri Top Coat (€7.40).

I have caved in and bought four shades of Picture Polish too. they came a little expensive at €55.70 with shipping but they are truly amazingly beautiful shades and the first impressions are very good. I will do a full blog post about my experience with the brand in due course as well.

Lastly, I just have to share the birthday gift my boyfriend gave me...a Swarovski elements jewellery set and a Morellato pearl bracelet that complement a lot of outfits :)

September Collective Haul

This month I have restrained myself quite a lot in terms of buying stuff, primarily because I have a London trip coming up early next year. Here's what I have parted my cash with this month.

I have been to New Look in the beginning of the month and I managed to find this dress from their new collection at €24.99. I love the print on it and it looks really good on with a belt to cinch in the waist. From their sale section, I found this lace type of skirt at just €15.00.

Nearly all stores have started bringing out their winter collections and I have slowly started adding some new items to my wardrobe. From River Island I purchased this leopard print jumper for €47 and it has such a cosy feel to it I can't wait to wear it! I have also found a pack of rings which includes some midi rings that actually fit my tiny fingers. The set cost €10.

During a weekend getaway with my boyfriend in Gozo, we managed to find some time to visit some shops and I spotted this Jennifer jacket which will be good to don on colder days for work. This cost €25.99 which I think is a fair price for an item that I will get a lot of wear out of.

Moving on to cosmetics, I took the opportunity to check out an outlet in Gozo which was said to have some Catrice Prime & Fine Translucent Powder left and luckily for me I did find 4 compacts and I bought all of them - 2 for me and 2 for my Mum who is a big fan of the product. It's sad when brands discontinue good products but luckily I will have a little more time to enjoy this one before I start searching for an alternative. They were €5.60 each. Also from Catrice, I bought a gel eyeliner brush for €2.80 since the one I had was no longer useable.

These two Rimmel polishes caught my eyes while browsing the makeup section at a convenience store at hospital. I wanted a nice baby blue polish and this one from the Rita Ora collection is what I have been looking for. I also caved and bought Disco Ball. I believe these retail for around €4.

I was running low on rose water and makeup remover wipes so I stocked up on those as well, both costing just above €1.

After being introduced to Yves Rocher, I went back to their store just this week and bought the full size of the Active Sensitive Redness Relief Treatment Cream for €16.50 and I was generously gifted some samples as well.

Lastly, I finally got my hands on a lipstick from the Pupa Milano Paris Experience Collection and I bought the shade 002 Berry Violet for €12.45 and I can't wait to wear it!

That's it for the September haul! Now, to make way for my birthday month and more treats ;)
