Event | Pink Fashion Show is [Back]Stage

The much awaited Pink Fashion Show organized by Pink Magazine, took place last Tuesday night at the majestic 18th Century Manoel Theatre in the heart of our capital city. Despite the rain, guests still flocked to the idyllic venue to witness yet another fantastic showcase of the season's hottest trends in beautiful surroundings.

The night kicked off with a pre-party where guests were served Kinnie Kiss cocktails (Prosecco and Kinnie - Malta's own soft drink). Following the obligatory chats to catch up and share our two cents about the expectations for the night, me and some fellow bloggers took our place at the front of the runway to make sure not to miss any detail from the night's look.

The show was yet another perfectly executed do - the models walked down the runway under the gazes of a totally wowed audience sitting in the theatre boxes and even those standing around the catwalk stage, accompanied by the rich repertoire of baroque music works of art from the Valletta International Baroque Ensemble. This is one of the main reasons why I love the Pink Fashion Show, for it always manages to seamlessly combine our heritage with current fashion trends in a way that is very difficult to surpass.

Since party season is on our doorstep, all brands showcased their best party collections - rich velvets, bold prints and colours, opulent metallics, leather and sophisticated outerwear have set the scene for a truly fashion-forward outlook on the most glamorous time of year. My absolute favourite was of course Rebelli, but all of the other 6 brands have very interesting collections - here are the pictures (captured by Mark Soler) to prove the splendour of them all!

I would like to thank Pink Magazine for having me again and also, a huge well done to everyone involved in the making of another spectacular night! Bravo!
