Monthly Favourites | January

New Year...New Favourites! and some old ones too, why not?! Here are the products that I have reached for time and time again last month.

I'm going to start with some fab new products from the nail department, specifically a sponge type nail polish remover from Kiko and two metallic stamping polishes from Born Pretty Store. I bought the remover to remove glitter polish in a more rapid and effective manner and since this contains acetone, it also works on soak off gels! I love its rapid action and it has consequently made the cut to the favourites - watch out for a full review. The polishes were sent to me for review and I think they are hands down, the best gold and silver stamping polishes - images transfer clearly and wholly and they last well too.

Moving on, I have this Tresemme products which is new to me and it is the Argan Oil Salon Sleek Frizz Control Smooth Memory Spray. I use this on towel dried hair before I heat style it and it works wonders at keeping frizz under control and my hair looking shiny. The cute tin is none other than Planter's Aloe Vera Repair Cream Natural & Young which has come to my hands' rescue against the cold weather we have been having lately and thanks to it, I haven't even seen any symptoms of chilblains.

There's not much makeup products this month except these two lipsticks from E.L.F. and Max Factor. E.L.F.'s Rosy Tan is actually an old favourite I rediscovered upon organizing my stash while Max Factor Mulberry is a new purchase. I love this deep red shade and its lasting power.

Kiko has definitely been the winning brand this month as my last favourites are all brushes from the brand. These are all eye brushes and they all have very good quality bristles and working with them is a dream. Shown here are Eyes 207, 208 and 210.

  1. Nice faves! :) Wow I haven't used Rosy Tan in ages and it's a shame, because it's such a beautiful shade! I need to start using it again! Thanks for reminding me :) x
