I hope every one had a good day :) I've only been home from work for a couple of hours and while I have some time to blog, I will be sharing with you a fantastic new product from Pupa Milano that I was sent last week thanks to the lovely Stephanie from Medimports.
As you can tell by title of this post, I will be sharing with you my views on Glossylips shade 401 Lollipop Orange which is one of the newest products launched by Pupa Milano on the Maltese market.
The concept behind Glossylips is to have an ultra glossy lipgloss that is not sticky, carries amazing shine and bright colour that lasts and lasts without smudging. This is easily achieved thanks to the flexible, flat sponge applicator that delivers just the right amount of product and contours the lips excellently. All this while nourishing the lips thanks to one of the main ingredients that is causing a buzz right now in the beauty industry...Argan oil.
As for the actual packaging, I like that the bottom part is transparent for the colour to show through and the elegant metallic silver details. The cap closes tightly and the shade number is printed on a sticker on the top part of the cap. I would rather have the name printed as well though.
With regards texture, this gloss is one of the finest I have ever seen... it glides on smoothly and it is not at all sticky. Moreover, it imparts a voloptuous look to the lips with its high gloss, jelly finish. The scent is very delicate, yet one can perceive the Argan oil immediately.
The colour I was sent, 401 Lollipop Orange is a beautiful coral-orange with a pink undertone and no shimmer what so ever. It is a universally flattering shade and is the perfect compliment to a lot of day and evening makeup looks alike.
On my lips the colour lasts around 3 hours before fading away. The glossy sheen is of course what goes away first but the colour lasts a little bit longer. I like how soft and moisturised my lips feel, even after the product wears off.
Bottom line, I would recommend this lipgloss to practically anyone who is willing to splash out on a lipgloss in return for glossy, soft and moisturised lips.
