Hi ladies, I wanted something new to feature on my blog and thought about showing you eyeshadow dupes I may have in my collection. I have accumulated quite a good number of shades and I think seeing dupes of various products helps us make a more informed choice as to which product fits best our criteria.
I will start this series of posts by comparing the shades in this Limited Edition palette by Catrice from their Cruise Couture collection (which is no longer available) against other eyeshadows I have in my collection. The only shades for which I do not have any dupes are Shades 1 and 4, so if you have any shades that you think might be dupes, do come forth with them :)
Let me start by giving a description of the colours in the palette and some pictures of the palette itself. Since the shades don't have any names, I will call them shade 1, 2, 3, etc...
Shade 1 - frosty sky blue with silver, lilac and light blue shimmer. Has a silky texture with good pigmentation and goes on very shimmery.
Shade 2 - matte navy blue that is not as pigmented as it looks. Not at all powdery.
Shade 3 - pearly, frosty white. Has fair pigmentation with lots of iridescent shimmer and goes on silky smooth with no powdery fallouts.
Shade 4 - matte bright Italian pink that has awesome pigmentation and a very silky texture.
Shade 5 - peachy-orange with flecks of tiny silver glitter that actually shows up. It features a silky formula and again, very good pigmentation.
