Following the brand's launch event last month, I have had the opportunity to try out the Organic Pomegranate Soap which is actually made with organic blackberry as well! The soap comes in a carton box and it is pretty much what you expect a soap to look like, except that this one in particular has blackberry seeds embedded in it to serve as exfoliating agents. Moreover, the soap has a rich, pomegranate fragrance.
I am not usually keen on using soap to wash for I much prefer shower gels but I was instantly intrigued upon learning that this soap is especially good at alleviating those small bumps that a lot of people get on the back of their arms and thighs; a common skin condition known as Keratosis Pilaris. and which sadly, I suffer from.
I started using this soap right away and after only two uses, I could already see that the nasty little bumps have started to diminish and today, after just three weeks, I only have a few more to get rid of! The only downside comes from the fact that I still feel, this soap dries my skin a little so what I usually do, is I first cleanse the affected areas with it, then cleanse the rest of my body with shower gel to counteract the dryness.
Nonetheless, I would still recommend people suffering from Keratosis Pilaris to give this soap a go! As a side note, the soap is free from parabens, SLS, artificial colours, frangrances and harsh preservatives. It is not tested on animals.
