Embrace the delicate side of femininity this Spring thanks to Pupa Milano's latest limited edition collection, aptly named, 50's Dream. The collection boasts 15 candy-coloured pieces with very sophisticated packaging to match. Candy and neutral shades dominate the collection to add a spring vibe yet still be faithful to the shades preferred by women in the 1950's.
Stephanie from Medimports kindly sent me one of the 4 Lasting Color Glossy Nail Polishes in the collection, namely shade 516 Dream Apricot. As soon as I took it out of the envelope I knew I was going to wear it for Easter as it matched my outfit perfectly! You can check out the nail art tutorial here.
The bottle is the same as all other Pupa Milano nail polishes and holds 5ml of product which is perfect if you're someone who never finishes a nail polish. The cap bears the red Pupa logo and to make it more suited for the collection's theme, it is a shiny, pearly lilac colour.
The brush is the perfect size for my nails and the formula is a joy to work with although a bit on the watery side so it will take a little longer to dry. One coat of polish will give you good coverage but the nail technician in me prefers to use two coats for maximum opaqueness. If you're in a hurry, you can skip applying top-coat altogether because the nail polish dries to a high-gloss finish.
