Here's another post for today lovelies (watch out for the Sigma Giveaway winner announcement in a few more minutes)...
Yesterday we attended the Good Friday procession in my home town. The atmosphere was very reminiscent of a sad day and that's the way I like it! Good Friday and Easter are actually two of my favourite celebrations from the Christian calendar. Here are some pictures of statues that men carry on their shoulders around the streets of Cospicua:
A street at night lit with candles
I kept my outfit casual (sorry I do not have a picture of it) and chose to wear a pair of beige jeans and a patterned shirt with beige, cream, orange and khaki and topped it with a military army-green coat.
Here's a list of the products I used to create the look:

- Inglot Under Make-Up Base
- NYX HD Foundation in HDF02 Soft Beige
- essence stay natural concealer in 01 Soft Beige
- Max Factor Creme Puff in 85 Light 'n' Gay

Thank you for stopping by Miss A :) xxxx
ReplyDeleteLove the eye makeup. Have a great Easter :)
ReplyDeleteI've never seen anything like that before, is Malta a particularly Christian country? I suppose that the sadness that comes with good friday is over shadowed by easter sunday itself. Its nice to get back to the actual reason for the corporate holiday.
ReplyDeleteI do like the golds on you, its nice with a little green. Colours I wouldnt have paired together but do work suprisingly! x
Love your eyeshadow :D
ReplyDelete@ Gertrude and Kristie: thank you so much girls :D hope you had a nice Easter xxx
ReplyDelete@Enigma: Yes Malta is traditionally a Catholic country and all feasts of saints we celebrate have their own statues. Good Friday & Easter are two of my most favourite celebrations apart from the feast (or festa as we call it) in my hometown. If you ever visit Malta at this time of year you'll like it for sure as almost every town/city/village has its own procession.
Thank you for the comment on the eye make-up :) It's actually one of my favourite looks :) you should try them out sometime and see if they work for you :) xxx
